Memphis Restaurant & Food Tasting Tours

A TOUR OF TASTEABILITIES

A Tour of Tasteabilities – where your mind, soul and body are filled.

Memphis is an amazing city with so much to offer. Why miss an opportunity to see as much as
you can in a relatively short period of time?

Let us be both your “conductor” and “foodie” and take you on a journey through Memphis,
which is eye-opening, enlightening, entertaining and tastes great!

A Tour of Tasteabilities is a collaborative effort between two African American women-owned
businesses. A Tour of Possibilities focuses on the historical points of the tour and City Tasting
Tours introduces you to the culinary side of Memphis.

We believe the history of Memphis can be experienced in many different ways. This driving
tour is designed for you to see, feel and taste what Memphis is all about.

We begin this journey where the city began, down by the Mighty Mississippi River. We will
share how even our name, Memphis, has its roots in Africa.

Some of Memphis’ soul can be found in its neighborhoods. There is often a lot of focus on our
Downtown but there is so much more and we are excited to show you more of it!

There are sites such as: Slave Haven, an Underground Railroad Museum; Historic Mason
Temple where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his famous last speech, “I’ve Been To The
Mountaintop;” the Lorraine Motel, site where Dr. King was assassinated and now part of the
National Civil Rights Museum and Stax Museum of American Soul Music to name just of few.

We also add some music to the mix and take you down memory lane and give you the
opportunity to work up an appetite. You will enjoy delicious and generous tastings from 3
authentically Memphis restaurants. We will embrace southern cuisine and Memphis food
culture that makes Memphis a great place to live and visit.

Join us for an unbeatable combination…African American history + food tour!
